TEAS Exam for RN Program

Admission to West Georgia Technical College's RN and LPN Programs involve a competitive process. The process includes a standardized examination developed by ATI Testing who provides the TEAS Exam for students seeking admittance into nursing schools nationwide. Exam must be current within two (2) years of the program start date. A maximum of two attempts will be allowed per calendar year, with a minimum of 30 days between attempts.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the TEAS will ONLY be proctored via a third-party online proctoring platform. This will allow WGTC employees and students to remain in their safe shelter.

The platform to be used is Proctorio. There are technical requirements that your computer or laptop must meet. NO IPADS, TABLETS OR PHONES ARE TO BE USED! It is imperative that you read the TEAS Student Quick Start Guide. Please take it slow and read everything. Please click on the following link to view the guide.

To complete all the set-up requirements for Proctorio, you will be assigned a "demo" session prior to your assessment date. All registered students must complete the demo on the Monday prior to your assessment date at 10 am or you will not be allowed to take the TEAS assessment.

During your demo, you will follow the Student Quick Start Guide. It will direct you step by step in establishing Proctorio on your computer or laptop and verifying the technical requirements. If there is an issue installing the Proctorio Chrome extension, you will contact ATI Support at 800.667.7531.

After you complete registration, please note that you will receive an email from WGTC with all pertinent information for your demo session and actual assessment one week prior to your assessment date.
